Advent calendar Museum of the Old Arsenal

For several years now, the Museum Altes Zeughaus has decorated and illuminated its building front with what is probably Solothurn's largest Advent calendar, setting the mood for the city's festive illuminations.

Every year in Solothurn, the days until Christmas are counted with an oversized Advent calendar. This can be admired until the first week of January.

Every year, the Museum Altes Zeughaus comes up with a new exciting calendar. This Advent calendar, which is certainly one of the largest in Switzerland, delights young and old alike with its exhilarating stories and thus brings a little light into this dark time of year. A detour to Zeughausplatz on the evenings of Advent is therefore particularly worthwhile! Let yourself be enchanted by the colourful windows and lose yourself in an Advent story of a special kind.
